I specialize in coaching British and other foreign actors in a range of American dialects for audition and performance. I also work with accent correction for foreign speakers who would like to attain greater clarity of speech and correct or soften their existing accent towards General American. I coach RP for British and foreign speakers. 

Additionally, I coach acting for audition and performance.  

I also enjoy working with poets and other writers on presentation of their own material at readings. I seek to help them find and develop their own natural voice as performers – to reflect the voice they have already found through their writing. We work towards a clear and honest presentation. The aim is to connect with the imagery, actions and emotions already contained within their work, avoiding artificiality - and to feel confident in sharing this with an audience.

For the most part, I work with students on a one-to-one basis, but also coach full casts in a group setting.

A native-born American speaker, I grew up in the New York area (Manhattan, Northern Westchester County and Queens) and have lived in Chicago, Washington DC, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida and traveled up and down the East Coast and California.
